FREE A GIRL
Free a Girl pursues a world without commercial sexual exploitation of children and young women.
Worldwide, over 2 million children, especially girls, are trapped in a situation of sexual exploitation. They are locked up and exploited in brothels, massage parlours or garage stalls.
Free a Girl works very hard to free these children and prosecute the perpetrators, also in The Netherlands.
Since its foundation, Free a Girl has been able to free more than 6.200 children in 6 countries!
FREEDOM
Every child has the right to live in freedom. It is my hope that one day we can put an end to human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children and young women.
La Luz ("The Light" in Spanish) was founded with, among other things, the aim of helping women. I want to reach as many women as possible with our products and our message, and help them where I can.
Until then, we will continue to fight for freedom for every child.
VOLUNTEER
As a volunteer, I (Vanessa) have seen the effects of abuse up close, and they are devastating.
Victims of abuse are often left with physical and emotional scars that last a lifetime. They may struggle with trust issues, anxiety, depression and addiction.
I feel a strong urge to do something and help Free a Girl put an end to this terrible reality.
